VEHICLE BAR CODES DEACTIVATED
The Board approved that effective yesterday, Wednesday, February 1, those homeowners who were more than 90 days delinquent in their financial obligations to the Association had their vehicle bar codes deactivated and need to use the inside lane and produce their driver’s license as proof of residency in order to access the community until they bring their Evergrene account current.  Letters have been sent to all homeowners who are currently more than 90 days delinquent advising them of the timing of this action. The Association will be reviewing the 90 day delinquency list every month and going forward more deactivations will take place when a resident becomes 90 days delinquent. The Association has made it a priority to use all of the tools available to it to collect delinquent dues and other financial obligations to the Association that are owed by homeowners.  If a homeowner wishes to have their bar codes reactivated they will need to meet with management and pay enough of the amount owed on their account to bring their account current or start a payment plan to repay what they owe over a period of time.  Once such action is taken, bar codes will be reactivated that same day.

DRIVER’S LICENSES REQUIRED
Those residents who use the inside vehicle lanes at either of our two manned gate houses, must produce their driver’s license for the guard on duty at the gatehouse each time that they enter property.  Some residents have been producing their Evergrene ID card to the security personnel as proof of residency.  Association policy requires that you produce your driver’s license in order to gain access. Association policy also requires any guest or vendor to produce a valid driver’s license in order to gain access.  Any guest or vendor who is unable to produce a valid driver’s license will not be allowed into the community.  We ask that you comply with this important security policy and inform any guests or vendors that you use of this requirement.

MANSIONS RESIDENTS – BOARD ELECTIONS
The Board Election packages will be mailed out to all Mansions and Mansions West homeowners in the next week in preparation for your Annual Meetings and Elections at the end of February – see the Meetings Calendar below for the exact dates and times of these two meetings.

ANNUAL BIRD NESTING BOX CLEAN UP
On Wednesday, February 15 starting at 8:30am Greg Braun, our bird ecologist, will begin the annual cleaning, repair and maintenance of our 28 bird nesting boxes that are located throughout the preserve areas and common grounds in Evergrene.  Greg is asking for volunteers to assist him in this project.
If any residents are able to volunteer for 2 or 3 hours on Wednesday the 15th between 8:30am and 5:00pm, please email Stuart Tyrrell at stuart@ourevergrene.com with your name, phone number and times that you would be available. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this important and educational project.

LADIES LUNCHEON SET FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15
We had over 40 ladies attend the January Ladies Luncheon.  The program, featuring a local interior designer, was a hit with those who attended, as was our first lunch catered by an outside catering company.
This month, the featured speaker will be Evergrene’s yoga instructor, Jane Bruno, who will present “An Intro To Essential Oils: How These Powerful Natural Plant Essences Can Enhance Your Life And Aid In Healing”.
The Lunch Item will be: Grilled Chicken Croquet Salad – Tender Grilled Chicken, served over Mixed Baby Greens, Sliced Strawberries, Roquefort Cheese, Caramelized Red Onions and a Raspberry Vinaigrette.  This will be served with assorted rolls, cookies and brownies.  Iced tea and coffee will be served and there will be a cash bar available.  Cost of the lunch is $12.00 per person.
This will be another presentation with wide appeal, and a great lunch at a great value, so we hope that you will call your friends and neighbors and join us at 11:30am on the 15th.
Please RSVP to  Michelle at michelle@ourevergrene.com as soon as you have made your plans.

ATM MACHINE
Due to lack of use by our residents, and therefore a lack in usage fees generated, the ATM machine in the clubhouse has been removed by the vendor.
