Tiki Bar Now Has MLB Package

For an extreme discounted price, we have purchased the Major League Baseball package for the remainder of the 2010 season. You can now come to the Tiki Bar (or Fitness center) and watch your favorite MLB team drive to the playoffs. Games will be shown on consensus request at the Tiki Bar during busy days and evenings.

New Game Court Planned
After many years of discussion, the Board has agreed on a plan to better utilize what WCI once envisioned as a skate park. The fenced in area adjacent to the basketball court is going to be converted in to a game court.
The court will feature two giant game boards; one chess and the other checkers, with giant game pieces (chess pieces are 36" tall).
Residents with a valid club ID may check out the game pieces at the front desk like any other amenity. The games will be available for use from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm, seven days a week.
We are also considering adding a shuffleboard court and possibly hopscotch.
Some have suggested using the court area as a doggie park or tennis court. Given the severe slope in the current design, the court would need extensive and EXPENSIVE modifications in the upwards of $15,000. This has influenced the Board's decision to create a Game Court.
Funding for these new amenities will come from the Capital Improvement account. This is the one quarter dues each new owner pays at closing and is designed to be used exactly for things like this, improvements to the community and clubhouse.
